Where AI meets real life.

AI + Us is a new public event series from Penn AI and the Data Driven Discovery Initiative designed to bring conversations about artificial intelligence out of the lab and into the real world.

Join us at Yards Brewery for an evening of lively, accessible conversation about how AI is shaping our lives and what it means for all of us.

Hosted by Bhuv Jain, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania, our first gathering will feature Stefano Puntoni, Professor of Marketing at the Wharton School.

Professor Puntoni will talk about the development of artificial intelligence as a turning point in the history of our species and how we must think carefully about the impact that we want AI to have on our lives. He will share two ideas about how AI can be developed to support human flourishing.

Following the talk, Professor Jain will moderate an open Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask questions, share perspectives, and engage directly with experts in an informal setting.
